New Age Learning Centre

The NALC (National Academic Library and Community) is a newly established circular library created by the District Administration, designed specifically to cater to the reading and educational needs of the Diyun Community. The library’s primary mission is to enhance literacy and knowledge by offering a rich and diverse collection of reading materials suitable for various groups within the community, including professionals, students, and casual readers.

At present, the library has forged a collaborative partnership with the India Foundation for Education Transformation (IFET), an organization dedicated to improving educational outcomes. Through this alliance, the library not only ensures the maintenance and sustainability of its resources but also introduces innovative reading programs targeted at school students.

These initiatives are part of a larger Foundational Literacy and Numeracy Program, aimed at fostering essential skills in young learners. In addition to serving as a repository of books and educational materials, the NALC also functions as a vibrant hub for extracurricular activities. The library offers spaces and opportunities for a variety of activities, including singing, dancing, debating, and other creative pursuits. This multifaceted approach not only enriches the intellectual environment of the community but also promotes personal growth and social interaction among its members, making the library an invaluable asset to Diyun.
