Community Library
Our library is focused on providing access to books and learning for children from families living below the poverty line, but we also welcome children from all backgrounds. We aim to nurture a reading habit in everyone, as we’ve noticed that many people are increasingly glued to their mobile phones.
Additionally, the library provides a space for children to make new friends and engage in discussions. Our goal is to improve the language skills of children and promote a love for learning. To achieve this, we offer various activities such as art, craft, dance, singing, drama, and games, all related to the books available in our library.
Our main objective is to address the lack of interest among children, particularly those attending government schools. Through our library activities, we’ve observed a positive change, with children showing increased interest in attending school. This has led to a rise in school attendance, as noted in our latest survey.
