Community Library
The Dr. Rohith Vemula Education Centre has achieved significant progress in promoting education, career development, and health for the youth and children of Mahatma Phule Nagar. We have been focusing on conducting regular academic sessions for children in primary, secondary, and higher secondary sections. Furthermore, college students have been utilizing our center for computer and internet access as well as library facilities. Our dedicated volunteer teachers have continued to conduct classes, and we have also welcomed new volunteers to teach science. Moreover, volunteer teachers and students from IIT Bombay have organized special classes and experimental sessions in Science and English.
Our organization has successfully hosted medical camps for youths and children in collaboration with Pradya Prabhodhini, providing crucial healthcare services. We are proud to share that we have once again received the “Pararg Honor List Bookbox” award in recognition of our efforts to promote children’s library services. Additionally, one of our coordinators has completed Library Educator training with Bookworm Goa, enabling us to enhance our educational programs and provide better resources for children.
